Legion Meat Draw
January -June 2020
Between January -June 2020 the JDF Navy League Branch runs the Royal Canadian Legion #91’s Meat Draw one Saturday, each month, between 2 pm -5 pm. By running the Meat Draw we are helping support our local veterans who directly benefit from the monies raised during Meat Draw. Beacon Hill and Admiral R.H. Falls also directly benefit as all monies raised from the 50/50 sales go directly to Beacon Hill and Admiral R. H. Falls.
We are running the Meat Draw on the following Saturdays: January 18, Feb 15, March 14, April 11, May 9 and June (TBA).
The JDF Navy League Branch requires 6 adult volunteers to help each month. If you are interested in volunteering please contact Kim Campbell at email@example.com .

Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground and JDF Navy League Branch Garage Sale
October 19, 2019|948 Dunford Ave (cadet hall)|9:00 am-3:00 pm
In houror of Sarah Beckett, the fallen Westshore RCMP officer, who died on April 6, 2016, the JDF Navy League Branch is hosting a joint Garage Sale fundraiser on Saturday October 19, 2019. The goal is to raise funds to purchase 3 bricks for the Sarah Beckett Memorial Playground. Each brick costs $200. Beacon Hill, Admiral R.H. Falls and JDF Navy League Branch will each have their name engraved on a brick and laid at the park. By purchasing the bricks we are helping raise funds to pay for the playground.
This is a key branch event as it pays tribute to an important figure in our community and allows our cadets to give back and acknowledge the service work being done in our community.
Families are being asked to donate gently used items to the garage sale. Items such as toys, household goods, furniture, books, sports equipment ect. Starting the week of September 23 donations can be dropped off at the hall on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays during training times. A donation box will be provided.
November 23, 2019
TAG Day is an annual cadet fundraiser. Cadets from both corps collect donations throughout the Westshore, at various local businesses. This is our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year. Further details will be sent out in November.
